A lighter take on unity, from my collection of literary poems. Peace to your ♥!
UNIverse
U was round and open;
I, straight as a tree;
N, the sharpest of the bunch—
A brotherhood of three.
No one came between them;
They never were apart;
It was U-N-I together
From the very start.
To celebrate their friendship
They resolved to tie ONE on.
Then they were a UNIONE,
But their fellowship was gone.
ON fit in without a hitch;
E seemed not to belong.
Everything spelled trouble
Till they bid E “so long.”
All is well that ends well:
Their friendship did survive.
Now they live in perfect UNION—
A brotherhood of five.
