Coyotes. Interlopers. Moving from their woods
Into our neighborhoods. Losing a touch of wild.
Gaining a taste for trash. They should fear us.
Poem title from chapter 23 of poemcrazy by Susan G. Wooldridge.
I regularly hear reports of coyotes spotted in local neighborhoods. Peace to your ♥!
We had coyotes spotted and people lost their ever-loving minds! They were so afraid that the coyotes would snatch their children and cats and dogs… Thing is the coyotes were terrified of people and were only spotted at the fringe of the woods and only at dusk…
All the animal habitats are shrinking. We have more deer traffic now, and they’re becoming less afraid of people.
